Greetings!

If you like weird, art damaged music by a bunch of artists with eclectic record collections, check out The Very Best Of... The Perfect Me. The band is all over the place with tracks that are reminiscent of Scott Walker, or the moodier moments in Can. Most of the songs on the album deal with the psychological sense of shifting and uncertainty that's best described by the lyrics:

"Sometimes I'm happy, sometimes I'm sad,
sometimes I don't even know who I am".

Band members include: Jim Shaw, from the Detroit art-rock band Destroy All Monsters; Marnie Weber from the early '80s downtown L.A, band The Party Boys; Jamey Bair who was in The Frosted Mini Wheats; Sarah Seager from The Monique Experience; and Thaddeus Strode from Sloper.

The album also features guest appearances by: Mike Kelley from art world fame and Destroy All Monsters; and Dani Tull from Polar Bear.
