      Vex Club show in East LA, where Gerardo and I dressed in psuedo military police garb. When we went into the bathroom everyone basically ran out of the room thinking it was a bust (or was it something Gerardo said?).

      This Club 88 (West L.A.) show is where we shined searchlights on the audience in the middle of the set. We were lucky they didn't smash them. At the next show people turned up with sunglasses and kept them on during the set.

      "The Last Generation"
      This was our first paying gig. We were stunned that they gave us money to open for The Bags (Gerardo's favorite LA band with Craig Lee) and scream insults.

      This was at the Whiskey A Go-Go (Sunset Strip),
      but there was no one go-go dancing when we played there that night.

      "Selective Anihilation/We Want Your Body"
      The Blackie's show (Hollywood) was with the Dead Kennedys, but we could not advertise it, as the DK's had a contract with the Whiskey not to play any other show, even though they sold out the show at the Whiskey. Jello Biafra was very supportive, and seemed to enjoy how horrified people were at our shows.

      no fairies were bashed that night,
      ...but plenty of ears were!
